9ª edition a Weapon is not a Toy

The COMPAZ Municipal Council for the Culture of Peace and the OSC Londrina Pazeando, summoned the community of Londrina to the ninth delivery of the stamp “The weapon is not a toy”.

The act was held this November 21 at 14: 30 in the Municipal Chamber of Londrina.

This year they received the Seal of the Prefecture and City Hall, in a solemn ceremony that took place in the City Hall, the 45 stores.

Representatives of all stores attended, including those that received the Seal at 2018, because the work of sociologist Rangel Bandeira was also presented:

Your book Weapons for what which has a chapter that "mentions the city of Londrina" as the only one in Brazil that has a public policy regarding the disarmament of children and the control of the sale of toy weapons.

Another theme was the presentation of the World March

Another of the topics to which the event was dedicated was to report on the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.

The Base Team of the 2ª World March for Peace and Non-Violence, 17 will arrive in Londrina on December 2019, carrying the proposal for A World without Weapons and A World without Wars.

The Seal Delivery event is part of the Program of the II Municipal Week of Restorative Justice in Londrina (Law No. 12.624 / 17) that takes place from 12 to November 21 from 2019.
