Cheerful inauguration of Banco Rojo

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women opened a Red Bank in the Tilos square of Fiumicello Villa Vicentina, Italy

This November 25, 2019, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, in the Tilos Square of Fiumicello Villa Vicentina was installed and officially inaugurated by the Mayor, Laura Sgubin, a Red Bench, donated to the Community by the Asociation "Voci di Donne» to commemorate all women victims of gender violence and to reflect on a phenomenon that is worsening in Italy.

The initiative was supported by the Municipal Administration

The initiative was supported by the Municipal Administration and is part of a program of events aimed at raising public awareness of the issue of gender violence (film forum and theater).

The event was attended by students from the Rijeka Secondary School, accompanied by their teachers, and ordinary citizens; everyone listened attentively and with the participation of the speeches by the Mayor, the President of the “Voci di Donne” Association, Michela Vanni, the School Coordinator, Rita Dijust, and the President of the SOS Rosa de Gorizia Anti-Violence Center.

The “Voci di Donne” Association has joined the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, recognizing its objectives, and contributing to the dissemination of the event within each initiative it promotes.
