Given the special situation in Italy

The Italian Promoter Team of the Second World March for Peace and Nonviolence expresses, first, condolences and closeness with the victims of COVID 19 virus worldwide and in particular in Italy.

The emergency generated by the increase in cases in our country and the corresponding measures have forced to radically modify the events scheduled for the passage of the World March for Italy, scheduled from February 26 to March 3.

Different health situations in the country have suggested different solutions, however, with the possibility of changes occurring hour by hour.

The rich program of activities was modified according to the situations and dispositions of the authorities.

The walkers of the base team will be available to participate in videoconferences in the local activities that remain standing.

The specific programs will be communicated by the local promotional committees of each city.

The Italian Promoter Team expects a rapid return to normal and thinks that an Italian World March will take place in the coming months, where events that have not been possible on this occasion and many others that will be a sign of Peace, Nonviolence and Joy come true.
