The 9 October of 2019, in Seoul, capital of South Korea, was presented the 2 World March at the Global Club meeting center.

An exhibition of photographs was held by the «Patternist Photographer», Bereket Alemayehu, from Ethiopia, together with the explanation about the 2nd World March, they talked about how we can bring peace and non-violence through art?

The 2 World March Base Team is interested in being in South Korea in mid-January of 2020.

You want to visit the border between the two Koreas, as was done in the 1st World March.

It would also be great to have a meeting with Korean civil society.

Global Club Report #006
David and Elizabeth Locke from the United Kingdom

We really enjoyed our visit to the Global Club on October 9. It was good to meet in the room that is provided free of charge in the Citizens Hall of the Seoul Metropolitan City. We met with some 30 people from Korea, India, Cambodia, Japan, USA, Ethiopia and us from Great Britain.

The artistic photography of Bereket Alemayehu from Ethiopia was inspiring and included us in his struggle with winter and his refugee status in this country so different from his own.

It was a pleasure to meet people from different cultures and make games to break the ice together that showed that we all need to work together to achieve harmony in the world and appreciate the differences by looking at the languages that describe the experiences of the afternoon.

In particular, it was good to hear about the World March for Peace and Nonviolence and talk about the 5 priorities that highlight the need to end discrimination in terms of race, segregation, gender equality and religion.

Promote human rights. Face the need to change in the light of the weather emergency. Propose to the UN the challenge of becoming a World Peace Council and an Environmental and Economic Security Council.

Create links that promote peace, nonviolence, dialogue and solidarity.
Our Ethiopian friends brought specially brewed coffee and Ethiopian bread for everyone to enjoy.

The evening was beautifully facilitated by Youme and YY.
