World March Newsletter - Number 7

With this bulletin the 2nd World March jumps to Africa, we will see its passage through Morocco, and after its flight to the Canary Islands, the activities in the "lucky islands".

The passage through Morocco

After joining several members of the Base Team of the March in Tarifa, some from Seville and others from the Port of Santamaría, together they headed to Tangier.

Larache, the city of three cultures, hosted the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.

From Marrakech, we highlight the work of its people to lead to a convergence of the three cultures throughout history.

On Friday 11 in October, after a long journey, the World March arrived, at night, at Tan-Tan, the desert gate.

Before finalizing its tour of Morocco, the World March was in El Aaiún, “door of the Sahara”, where it was hosted by members of the Association of Solidarity and social cooperation.

The Rector of the University of La Laguna received the promoters of the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.
