World March Newsletter - Number 9

The 2 World March, flew from the Canary Islands to, after landing in Nouakchott, continue its journey through the African continent.

This bulletin will summarize the activities carried out in Mauritania.

The base team of the March was received by Fatimetou Mint Abdel Malick, President of the Nouakchot Region.

Subsequently, there was a meeting with students at an institute, the Al Ansaar private school in the El Mina neighborhood of Nouakchott.

On October 23 and 24, the events, meetings and interviews with the Base Team continued.

The next day, the road was taken southward by a minibus in the direction of Rosso; there the Base Team spent the night at Lamine Niang's house before crossing the Senegal river to reach Saint-Louis (Senegal), at noon.
