On December 8th, the “Cavalcade of Montubia Integration for Peace and Nonviolence, Saint Lucia 2019”, Within the framework of 2ª World March.

Edson Alvarado, mayor of Santa Lucía and president of the Association of Ecuadorian Municipalities (AME), together with sectional authorities, Montubia Integration Committees from Manabí, Guayas, Los Ríos and Olga Guerra, a member of the World Association without Wars and Violence, Ecuador chapter, met to coordinate the preparations for this great event.

The parade takes place prior to the arrival of the Base Team in our country and will bring together around 4000 horsemen who will dress in white as a symbol of peace, faithful to their heritage and tradition.

The representatives of the Ecuadorian Corporation for Human Rights (Cedhu), on October 17, 2019 met with Silvana Almeida, a member of the World Without Wars Association, to join the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence and plan the activities that They will be held in December when the Base Team arrives in Ecuador.

It should be noted that Cedhu is a social, private non-profit organization, whose headquarters are located in the city of Guayaquil.
