Peace Walk in Mixco, Guatemala

Students from three schools with a student from the Faculty of the UN came together in the Municipal Pavilion

On November 16 day in the municipality of Mixco, Guatemala developed the Walk for Peace. At the entrance of the municipality he walked towards the Peace Monument located in front of the Municipality.

With the participation of students from the schools "María Isabel Escobar", School "Berlin" and School "Republic of Turkey" who together with the Base Team of the 2ª World March They made the change of the Rose.

The walk went to the Municipal Gym accompanied by a musical band. The municipal choir of girls and boys directed the National Anthem and performed other melodies.

Also the student of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University encouraged the activity.

Alberto Vásquez and Rafael de la Rubia participated as part of the Base Team, in addition to Brenda Gonzales and Estuardo Estrada who received the book that recorded the participation of the municipality of Mixco in the First Central American March for Peace and Nonviolence.

With the girls and boys there was an exchange of war toys for educational games and the activity was completed with the completion of the Peace symbol for an educational center.

This walk was promoted with the Promoter Team of the March for Peace and Nonviolence in Mixco, coordinated by Mr. Jairo de la Roca and with the participation of the Youth office.
