Cinema-Forum on macho violence

A cinema forum was held in the municipal library of El Casar, Guadalajara, Spain. After juicy debate, I have the idea of educating in Nonviolence.

The November 22, framed in the activities of the 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence, a Cinema-Forum on Machista Violence was held in the El Casar library.

After the screening of the short film “The Order of Things”, against violence against women, there was a lively and juicy debate that, although it seemed like we were only there for a few minutes, lasted an hour.

The event was attended by some 26 people, among which were the mayor of Casar Mrs. María José Valle Sagra, councilors and a representative of the women's center. Also several young people and a teacher.

We must educate for Nonviolence

We left delighted and with the clear idea that we must educate for Nonviolence.

As proposals in the short term, on 25 the City Council will make a manifesto.

For our part, the Social Movement of El Casar, which we convened this Cinema-Forum, will make a purple human bond with teenagers and a manifesto proposed by a young activist.

After that, a monolith with a commemorative plaque will be inaugurated.
