With students in San Ramón de Alajuela

In San Ramon de Alajuela, a part of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence delegation participated, together with local authorities and human rights activists (November 26), we formed the human symbols of Peace and Nonviolence with the students.

The demonstration was organized with the participation of children from the schools: Jose Joquin Salas, students of the University of Costa Rica UCR Headquarters of the West, a representative of the Nectandra Institute, as well as the Municipality of San Ramón and neighbors of the canton that They were present at the Guillermo Vargas Roldán Stadium.

They were representatives of the support groups

Together with the teachers and the Promotional Team of the 2 World March in San Ramón de Alajuela, were representatives of the support groups: World without Wars and Violence (MSGySV) Costa Rica, Municipality of San Ramón and Ministry of Public Education.

After receiving the 2 World March in the city, the municipal representative explained that 10 years ago the first World March also passed through Costa Rica.

Then he asked some questions to the students present in the stands of the Stadium, on the theme of peace, such as who Gandhi was, inviting them to look for information on the figure of Gandhi.

Symbols of Peace and Nonviolence were built

Finally, some members of the Base Team intervened and with all those present we built the symbols of peace and nonviolence on the stadium grass, while a drone filmed it from the sky.

To close its passage through the hot city of San Ramón, the Base team welcomed the invitation of the Wellnes Holistic Center, where experiences were shared and the possibility of the Holistic center being involved, in some way, in the next actions that were The Ramonense Committee for La Paz and Nonviolence are carried out through the Promoter Team.
