Flashes of Art in the World March

Here we will show some examples, just scraps, of that unconditional art that is accompanying the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence

Art and culture in general accompany and will continue to accompany the 2ª Macha Mundial.

Art and culture in all its expressions are especially permeable to the all expression of human sensitivity and its diversity.

The best wishes and aspirations run through it, showing in its sensitivity, the sensitivity of the human heart.

In his voice, the voice of the peoples.

In his song, the melody of the man-woman universe, created and recreated in constant search.

The painting exalts him, the sculpture shapes him.

All art shines and multiplies in the exaltation of a human being who walks towards his twinning, towards the coveted union from the beginning, the people of all peoples.

The most advanced techniques for illustration were shown

While the debate was taking place in the activity “Migrations, a thermometer of democratic health”, a professor from ESDIP School of Art made live illustrations on the stage table with the projection of his works on the screen.

All art pushes towards Peace

In the background, this music that invites peace that we could hear at the launch of the 2nd World March at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, the music of “Pequeñas Huellas”.

Mix here, let us poetry and painting.

The Flight of Peace, by Eduardo Godino Montero

This poetry, which was read in the presentation of the 2 World March in Cádiz, named The Flight of Peace, shows us in its imperative rhythm the need for Peace.

I shouted

the cannon to the dove,
dove
why don't you take the flight
Why don't you go dove?
I only speak with tongue
of death and fire,
I have no soul, and my heart ...
It is shrapnel and steel,
go away, dove go away,
and get up soon.

Dove…
perches before the giant,
and with a soft voice he answers;
lethal weapon you are ...
for women men children and old,
I bring life with me, and at my peak,
for you I bring a rose, in my body ...
for every pen one hundred dreams,
I bring a hundred grains of wheat
to sow a hundred fields.

I have flown
one hundred days and one hundred nights,
still faint,
I have not eaten in any garden,
nor have I drank at any source,
I slept on my flight.

And you threaten me ...
with death fire and fear,
you won't be able to with me a devil of steel
as David beat Goliath,
I will beat you giant cannon.

My name is Paz,
and although it seems that I don't exist,
if it wasn't a sentinel in sleeplessness
throughout the universe, this planet ...
would have disintegrated into atoms,
I live in hearts and souls.

We are seeing it in this square,
we will be forty, one hundred or three hundred,
and our voices will be heard ...
even in the farthest desert oasis,
and my rose, I will pass it through your steel.

You giant cannon,
at the orders of dictators who change ...
life for mothers crying in duels,
You will fall before my feet
and upon your ashes of death and fire,
the hundred wheat fields we will sow,
for the planet and for each of its peoples,
I will release from my body one by one ...
Each of our dreams.

I am and we are Peace,
more ... we will overcome you, violence we will overcome you.

WE FIGHT AGAINST ALL TYPES OF VIOLENCE.

Eduardo Godino Montero

Graffiti on the doors of the Parque Parque de los Sueños

We mixed it with the doors painted by the students of the “Park of Dreams” School in Cubatao, Sao Paolo, in their project to support the 2nd World March “graffiti on the doors with the icons of Non-violence”.

The World March Party

At the “World March Festival” in Rome with sculpture and photography samples.

Music, pleasant talk, storytelling, exhibitions and a relaxed, cheerful and friendly atmosphere. And also, music, lots of music.

In Seoul, photography took center stage

In Seoul An exhibition of photographs by the "Pattern Photographer", Bereket Alemayehu, from Ethiopia was made, along with the explanation of the 2 World March, talked about how we can bring peace and nonviolence through art ?

Murals for Peace

Another manifestation of this art, extending in Colombia from an educational center to an educational center, are the murals for peace of which we see some example.

During the March through Lanzarote, “Musics of Peace”

In the Cultural Center of Argana Alta de Arrecife, receiving the 2 World March, a “Music for Peace” space was created, with the participation of the Tytheroygatra and Bah Africa Yes groups, among others.

Poems, Stories, Cartoons and Peace Drawings

Recently, within the framework of the 2nd World March, the jury of the XV International Peace Poems, Tales, Vignettes and Drawings Contest, convened by the non-profit association Costruttori di Pace and the Costruttori di Pace publishing house, made their decisions public . This was reflected in the newscast Luino Notizie

Nonviolence figures, by Mar Sande

Finally, we show some paintings by the graphic artist Mar Sande, the first, specially created for the World March.

They are a series that mixes painting and poetry about great figures who used and promoted Nonviolence.

The following, some of his collection, also referred to people, examples for Nonviolence.

These and so many other expressions of art that we cannot do more than teach a small sample and express our admiration for human creativity.

We thank all the technicians, musicians, singers, writers, poets, painters, graffiti artists, artists in general, the collaboration and support they are making in each place through which the 2 World March for Peace and Non-violence passes.
