Marrying Against Gender Violence

Today, 25 of November of 2019, day against gender violence, different activities have been carried out in the Casar.

On the one hand, with the participation of especially the young people of the town, a Human bond has been created against gender violence

Within this day, a Monolith and a plaque were also inaugurated in commemoration of this day.

It has been an act with the participation of 100 schoolchildren and adult 70!

Never has such a beautiful act been done with so many people!

The Social Movement of El Casar read this manifesto

Good morning, from the social movement of El Casar we thank the town hall for the opportunity to speak in front of all of you and you.

When we talk about gender violence, we usually think about the murdered women we see every day on the news, but there is no need for physical violence to be sexist violence.

Today, November 25, the international day of elimination against violence against women, it is important that we talk about the importance of growing in equality.

From early ages like yours, be able to know and analyze those behaviors that, although we do not believe it, are macho.

May we not get lost in the path of violence

May we not get lost in the path of violence and know that it is right and wrong.

Despite this being a town, there are registered 41 cases of gender violence, of which 29 has a restraining order.

It is essential to know these data to be aware that even in the smallest places these things occur, and thus be able to prevent them from growing.

From the social movement, schools, institutes, associations and town hall, we encourage you today to think about what 25 November represents.

We invite children, youth and adults to have a voice against what is harming them, to think about equality and not to shut up in situations of injustice.

To consciously educate our partner next door in mutual respect, and to be able to live in a world where we can all enjoy as equals.
