This September 21, within the framework of the First Latin American March for Nonviolence. World without wars and without violence Costa Rica, was invited by the Transformación en Tiempos Violentos Foundation and the Antígono Gallery to celebrate the international day of peace, through a symbolic act that was held at the BN Arenas where the Exhibition is being presented " Paths of Hope”, which consists of an exhibition of 52 artists, of which 21 are children and young people from vulnerable populations, deprived and formerly deprived of liberty.
During the activity, the next events of the three participating organizations were announced, which are also part of this Latin American March that is currently in development, they reflected on the importance and meaning of peace in all fields of human endeavor and made a request for peace and nonviolence in our region, sending in an allegorical way, the light to all our Peoples, using the emblem of the March, (a sphere that symbolically illuminates Latin America on a globe). This is the light that we require in all the Peoples of Latin America, so that we can follow the path towards peace and nonviolence, concluded the plastic artist Juan Carlos Chavarría, who chairs the Transformation in Violent Times Foundation.
