The Base Team arrived in Piran

The base team of the 2nd World March for Peace and Non-Violence has arrived in Piran, Slovenia

Although all planned public meetings were canceled (meetings with schools, citizens and the press, due to the nearby Coronavirus crisis in Italy), the team was received at the Museo del Mar by the mayor of PiranGenio Zadković, the museum's director, Franco Juri, and the president of the Italian Union (the main organization of Italians in Slovenia and Croatia), Maurizio Tremul.

On this occasion (see photo) the mayor of Piran signed the accession to the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence of the municipality itself.
