A delegation of the 2 World March met Pope Francis in the Vatican

This Wednesday 18 of September of 2019, the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence has met Pope Francis.

The team promoting the 2ª World March, already prepared for the entrance to the Papal Audience on Wednesdays, informed, by voice of his representative, Rafael de la Rubia, to Pope Francis about the purpose of the 2 World March and his intention to carry a message of Peace and Nonviolence in Your tour around the planet.

The books of the 1 World March, the 1 Central March and the 1 South March and also the corresponding flags of these marches were given to Pope Francis as gifts.

After the brief explanations of Rafael de la Rubia, Pope Francis conveyed his best wishes to him, to the 2 World March and to all those who engaged in these acts of humanization of the earth.

He also expressed his wishes for the prompt entry into force of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, already ratified by the Vatican.

Finally, Pope Francis blessed the flags that will be carried on this 2 World March and explained that “these actions must be promoted. It is a good thing to do and that dignifies. ”

We are pleased that the highest representative of the Catholic faith specifies his support for actions such as the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.
