Enriching Workshop of Nonviolence in Rome

Organized by the association Energia per i Diritti Umani ONLUS, a Nonviolence workshop was held in Rome

On Saturday 30 of November and Sunday 1 of December were two days dedicated to nonviolence in Rome, in the heart of the San Lorenzo district, too often remembered only for its degradation and violence.

Among the various initiatives promoted in support of the 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence, the association Energia per i Diritti Umani ONLUS He has organized a training workshop for the resolution of daily conflicts through the application of active nonviolence.

The non-violence education weekend took place at the Via dei Latini 12 headquarters, which the association shares with other realities that share the same humanistic and non-violent attitude, the Humanist House and the ONLUS Rights to the Heart Association .

The workshop was attended by the tireless Energia volunteers, the strong boys of the Baobab Experience association (https://www.facebook.com/BaobabExperience/) and other valuable people interested in the practice and dissemination of non-violence (https: / /www.facebook.com/unponteper/; https://www.facebook.com/TheaAssociation/).

It was an invaluable opportunity for exchange, experimentation and mutual enrichment between people from different cultures with profoundly different stories, but all united by being part of the same Universal Human Nation.

In summary, it has been two days that have been renewed in the hearts of those present and the awareness that diversity is an enormous wealth and that the aspiration to build a non-violent world is a possible utopia.

Thank you!
