The Base Team in Punta de Vacas

December 29, the International Base Team arrived at the Punta de Vacas Study and Reflection Park, in Punta de Vacas, Mendoza, Argentina

The Marchantes traveled by bus from Córdoba to Punta de Vacas for the Tribute to Silo.

Bus for Peace and Nonviolence together with the Las Heras Community, in Uspallata.

And, when arriving at Punta de Vacas, a significant and precious solar halo awaited the dealers.

A transparent and luminous sphere

The arrival of the 2nd World March to Punta de Vacas Park was accompanied by a mystical solar halo, there was a very special energy in the air. The present know what we are commenting on now.

«A transparent and luminous sphere. That was what we saw today when looking towards the sky, when the 2nd World March arrived in Punta de Vacas«, comments Gunther, one of the participants of the International Base Team.

In the Multipurpose Room of the Punta de Vacas Study and Reflection Park ...

We are accompanied by a wonderful choir ...

In the Park, we were welcomed by the friends of the Message Community of Las Heras de Uspallata. Thank you!

We had a Shared Lunch with lots of music. They were all and all very inspired. And a toast was made for the 2nd World March. The choir was in tune.

Presentation of Mural at the entrance of Punta de Vacas Park

At the entrance of the Punta de Vacas Study and Reflection Park, Rafael and Lita presented the Mural made by some friends of the Community of La Plata. Thanking the promoter team of Mendoza, all the collaborators and also all the dealers who accompany the International Base team.

Rafael de la Rubia spoke of there having already been other "signs" that have been accompanying the March, such as in Colombia, where a Plaza with the name of Silo and a bust of Silo were inaugurated.

It is good that they also put names to the places commemorating artisans of Peace.

A meaning and masterful tribute to Silo

Subsequently, in the Sala de Punta de Vacas, Rafael de la Rubia, General Coordinator of the 2nd World March made a meaningful and masterful tribute to Silo.

Silo, pseudonym of Mario Luis Rodríguez Cobos (1938-2010), founder of the Humanist Movement and Universalist Humanism, a precursor movement of active Nonviolence, from which the World Marches for Peace and Nonviolence were born.

I speak of the importance, not only as the philosopher and founding writer of the Humanist Movement, but also as a person.

He talked about the basic ideas he launched when he talked about overcoming pain and suffering. Pain will be overcome through the advancement of science and social justice and suffering through personal transformation.

He talked about the 1st World March and the 2nd World March and its importance to raise awareness worldwide about the need for peace. This 2nd March, which started in Madrid and will also end in Madrid.

Just as we are doing this tribute here, we will also pass through India, where one of the great exponents of nonviolence was born, such as Gandi, whom we intend to honor there. it is possible to also pass through China

He thanked finally, not only the teachings of Silo, but also his person.

We appreciate the support with the dissemination of the web and social networks of the 2 World March
