The Base Team arrives in Moscow

The International Base Team of the 2nd World March, arrived in Moscow on February 9, the next day held a meeting with members of the Gorbachev Foundation.

At this meeting, held on February 10, between the members of the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence and the Gorbachev Foundation, views were exchanged on the need at the global level to build bridges to promote detente between peoples.

The meaning of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence was explained, to extend and value peace, respect, tolerance, solidarity, the attitude of building bridges at all levels, personal, social, among peoples.

Some of the actions carried out framed in the March were described, all around the world in its path and also in places where it has not passed.

There was also an exchange on the ICAN campaign, carried as a flag by the 2nd World March to all the places where it is disseminated and / or passes, informing about the need to propose initiatives that promote the signing of the TPAN (Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons).

The intention was also made known to repeat the March every 5 years and, of course, not to give up at any time in working for Peace and Non-violence on the planet.
