This December 20 the Base Team of the 2nd World March arrived in Argentina.
They moved to Lomas de zamora, city that had declared the 2nd World March as of Municipal interest.
There, the March was presented at the Fiorito Cultural Center of Lomas de Zamora.
Damián Arias, Coordinator of the Diploma in Management of the Social and Solidarity Economy, together with professors, managers and students, received representatives of the World March.
After commenting on some points of interest of the march, such as; Nuclear Disarmament worldwide and the overcoming of violence in its different expressions throughout the Planet.
They highlighted the strong participation and commitment in these times by young people and women, adding all kinds of actions for the construction of a more human and less violent world.
Finally, and already thinking about future actions, the Coordinator of the March announced that “In the face of the increasing violence that is increasing in the Region, given the progress of dehumanizing policies in the hands of Neoliberal Governments, we are already working on the organization of an upcoming Latin American March for Peace and Non-Violence".
The next day, dealers arrived at the Study and Reflection Center La Reja Park, where they were received in the workplace, with a cheerful celebration.
The objectives of the March were explained, a brief summary was given of the activities carried out so far and the next steps of it.
Today the dealers are on their way to Tucumán. On Monday 23 different activities will be carried out.
The March will say goodbye to 2019 in Punta de Vacas
The base team of the 2nd World March is expected to visit Milagro Sala, in Jujuy.
Also that the days 26 to 27 pass through Córdoba and 28 through Mendoza.
The 2nd World March will say goodbye to 2019 at the Punta de Vacas Center for Studies and Reflection, where it will be between December 29 and 31.
There, among many other activities, a tribute to Silo will be made.
