“Betta te scrivo” show, Vicenza, Italy
12 January 2020 @ 14: 00-19:00 CET
Dear friends, thanks to the collaboration of Beppe Traversa and the Museum of Resurgence and Resistance we have organized this exhibition for January 12.
Come all, you will be happy!
On Sunday, January 12, at 16:XNUMX p.m., in the auditorium of the Museum of Resurgence and Resistance in Villa Guiccioli, the show in words and music “Betta te scrivo” by Beppe Traversa will be proposed.
The initiative, organized by the World March for Peace and Non-Violence, is carried out in collaboration with the Museum of Resurgence and Resistance.
Conceived by Beppe Traversa and inspired by Giorgio Havis Marchetto's book “Un uomo, una donna. 1915/1918. A war epistolary of Val Posina”, the show has a fresh and original formula the story of a young marriage of Fusine di Posina (the couple of goats) through a potpourri of readings of some of the exciting letters, images, movies, original songs, stories and considerations.
The story unfolds through a series of emotional engagements that wink at a smile or involve even tears.
The story of the bride and groom is not only a testament to the horror of war, the suffering of displaced families, hardships and pain, but also the tangible proof that only through love can one find the strength to reconstruct the own existence and out of the darkness of war, with its logic of death, walking towards peace. A difficult path, surely, by which Beppe Traversa leads us lightly, accompanied by Paolo Sogaro (guitars), Giovanni Zordan (diatonic organ), Stefano Battiston (drums) and Federico Saggin (bass), getting to offer with originality a modest lesson of humanity and hope. Admission is free and open to the public until available spaces are exhausted.
