La Latin American March for Nonviolence, Multi-ethnic and Pluricultural, began on September 15, 2021 with a successful profusion of activities.
Activists from many Latin American countries have done their bit to achieve this inauguration of the Latin American March for Nonviolence.
In it, the virtual is symbolically combined, using prerecorded videos, and direct connection to different parts of Latin America and even Madrid.
The central opening ceremony took place at the UNED, Puntarenas headquarters in Costa Rica, organized by the UNED and Mundo Sin Guerras y Sin Violencia.
First, we proceeded to the inauguration of the Exhibition of Photographs of the Marches for Peace and Nonviolence in Latin America.
Subsequently, the inauguration of the March consisted of the viewing of videos from various parts of Latin America, the commemoration of the Bicentennial of Central America and the launch of an Order for Peace and Nonviolence in the Region.

In this way, the official start was given with a symbolic act of the virtual and face-to-face March that runs through Latin America until next October 2.
Throughout this same day, different activities were carried out in other Latin American countries as a starting point for the Latin American March for Nonviolence.

- The opening and launching ceremony of the March and unveiling of the Flor de Paz sculpture at the Francisco José de Caldas District University of Bogotá at 10:30 a.m. Bogotá time.
- And, in the town of Teusaquillo, in Bogotá, the inauguration of the Latin American March was viewed as a group in expanded projection.
- From the Book Fair in the ORIGAMI exhibition booth, in La Paz, Bolivia they showed their adherence to the Latin American March.
- In Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, as a greeting to the beginning of the Latin American March, they made an informative mural of the Latin American March.
