Continuing with the activities in the future of the March, we highlight the cluster of adhesions in educational centers that are being produced in Colombia.
They are expressed, for example, in the Murals for Peace initiative, which we already explained in a previous article and which involved the participation of the largest number of students through the murals to spread a message of Peace and Nonviolence to transform the society, carried out in different educational centers.
As an example, the Tomas Moro College, which participated in this campaign
"Murals for Peace” is a successful initiative that is still underway and is spreading to other surrounding countries.
Another manifestation is the adhesion of the faculty staff and complete groups of students, which in turn invite all students to participate in activities planned by themselves.
The Adhesion of the teachers of the “Saint Thomas of Aquinas Foundation”
An example is the case of the Adhesion of the teachers of the “Santo Tomás de Aquino Foundation“, in the town of La Candelaria, Bogotá.
And also the Adhesion of students of the Santa Sofia Institute, in Engativá, capital district of Bogotá.
Other manifestations of adhesion and solidarity, such as “Activities from the Classroom”
These initiatives are also being accompanied by other manifestations of support and solidarity, such as the “Activities from the Classroom” campaign.
It is intended, with it, to encourage the participation of students by recognizing the various problems that afflict their community.
They carry out different activities that range from artistic creation, the socialization of ideas; they invite critical thinking, internal growth, to the formation of values that lead to a peace process based on the social environment to transform it.
We take the Alexander Pétion Humanist College in Las Cruces, Bogotá, as shown.
We thank the Quindio Integral Humanist College in Armenia for the beautiful decoration with which they promote the World March.
These are some examples of the many groups that in the field of education have joined the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.
