Kannur supports the TPAN becomes the first Indian city to show its endorsement of the Nuclear Weapons Prohibition Treaty

The Municipality of Kannur signs its support for the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and is thus the first Municipality of India to show its determined support for the ICAN campaign.

Today, there are 159 countries that support, 80 have already signed the treaty and 35 have ratified it.

We are lacking 15 countries to ratify it so that the TPAN enters into force internationally.
