The March on the 29th and 30th in Argentina

Recognitions and social activities of the Latin American March on the 29th and 30th in Argentina

Several recognitions have been concentrated in these days in the Argentine municipalities.

On the one hand, on September 29 in Humahuaca, Jujuy, "we had great news, the municipal council of our town approved the draft declaration and of municipal interest the Latin American march for nonviolence and peace."

On the other hand, on September 30, as reported in 7paginas.com.ar:

'The International Forum “Towards the Nonviolent Future in Latin America” was declared of Municipal Interest by the Deliberative Council of Concordia.

Juan Domingo Gallo, promoted the declaration of municipal interest of the Forum that is carried out as the closing of the Latin American Multiethnic and Pluricultural March for Nonviolence organized by the NGO Mundo Sin Guerra together with other humanist organizations.

The declaration was voted only by the official caucus. "Strikingly, the opposition did not vote or issue any expression" reported the Councilor.

Bernardita Zalisñak, a humanist reference and who has promoted some actions together with the Network of Original Peoples of the 5th Latin American Humanist Forum and the Program of Interculturality and Original Peoples of the UADER, commented that "the peoples of our continent, with different nuances, deny the violent forms that result in hunger, unemployment, disease and death, submerging human beings in
pain and suffering" as expressed in the protest of the March and blurted out "that the right does not say anything does not surprise us because historically it has promoted violence in those terms, against the peoples, it does surprise us that people vote for them »

Last Saturday, Zalisñak moderated a Conversation-Exchange of the Network of Native Peoples of the 5th Latin American Humanist Forum, which included the participation of leaders from the Chatino and Zapotec Native Peoples -from Mexico- and Mocoví, Charrúa, Rankel and Qom -from Argentina- whose conclusions will be presented at the International Forum «Towards the Nonviolent Future in Latin America» that will be held in face-to-face bimodality (Costa Rica) and virtual with the rest of the countries on October 1, in the Thematic Axis «Wisdom of the Native Peoples of Latin America, towards Pluricultural Coexistence”. In Concordia, the activity promoted by the I'Tu Community of the Charrúa Nation People and educational institutions related to Education for Non-Violence will take place tomorrow, October 1st.'

Meanwhile, the usual activities continued with their usual joy.

On September 29 in Santa Rosa, the Abolitionist Humanist Feminist Conversation was held:

'The president of the deliberative Council, Paula Grotto, participated together with the councilor Alba Fernández, of the Conversation of Abolitionist Humanist Feminists, developed within the framework of the activities of the Week of Non-Violence 2021.

Fernández was the one who led the first talk of this Conversation, called Women for disarmament.
Next, María Eugenia Cáceres spoke about Labor violence in the sector of workers in private homes, while Juana Benuzzi was in charge of the talk "Violence in the musical field" '
.

This same day, in Córdoba capital, Nonviolence Workshops were held in schools for adults, CENMA B ° Acosta and CENMA B ° Corral de Palos, within the framework of the march.
