After the entry into the African continent on October 8 through the port city of Tangier where a special event had been prepared to receive the World March Base Team and its companions; after the events they ended up spending the night in the city of Larache.
On October 9 the delegation began its activities very early, visiting the Archaeological Park of Lixuz, where the ancient origins of the city are observed and there are remains of all its stages of development. From the hill you could see the strategic location and salt fields in the distance.
Impressive Roman ruins
Almost at the top, impressive Roman ruins where an amphitheater located in front of the sea, hot springs with hot and cold baths, remains of a temple to Neptune with important mosaics, also the salting area of fish, among others curiosities.
Further down the remains of an old mosque, the remains of tombs and the Archaeological Park Museum.
Some artists gave free rein to some ancient songs in the Amphitheater. Very emotional event because they recognized in those songs common roots to others in the traditions: Andalusian, Spanish and Castilian Middle Ages. Highlighting common origins in certain cultural issues.

The performance of the GANAWA youth music group, as well as the traditional TARAB group, AL ANDALUZ, that entertained the public with its exquisite music, and the Taekwondo school of the Chavard Sports Club with Professor Ali Amassnaon, who demonstrated their abilities.
The city of Larache was distinguished as an example of coexistence between different cultures; as tolerance, which is one of the central proposals of the World March.
