Cross-Border March and the World March

The October 5 of 2019, a group of promoters of the 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence  from Alto Verbano have participated in the 7th cross-border march for Peace “on the way to peace” in Ponte Tresa (Italy/Switzerland).

Ponte Tresa is a Swiss commune in the canton of Ticino, located in the district of Lugano, circle of Magliasina. It limits to the northeast with the commune of Pura, to the east with Caslano, to the southwest with Lavena Ponte Tresa (IT-VA), and to the northwest with Croglio.
