Five years after 2ª World March fifteen years after the 1ª World March, our organization returns to continue reaching more people

What?

La 1ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence He made close to a thousand events in over 400 cities that he toured from 97 countries on the 5 continents. More than 2000 organizations participated. Approximately two hundred thousand km were traveled and hundreds of thousands of people participated.

La 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence It had a journey of 159 days with activities in 51 countries and 122 cities.

With the accumulated experience and with sufficient indicators to have even greater participation, support and collaboration... It is planned to hold this 3rd World March for Peace and Nonviolence 2024-2025.

For what? Our mission

Social Denunciation

To denounce the dangerous world situation with growing conflicts, increased spending on armaments while in vast areas of the planet many populations are delayed due to lack of food and water.

Creating awareness

To continue creating awareness that it is only through "peace" and "nonviolence" that the human species will open its future.

Greater Visibility

To visualize the different and very varied positive actions that people, collectives and peoples are developing in numerous places in the direction of applying human rights, non-discrimination, collaboration, peaceful coexistence and non-aggression.

New generations

To give voice to the new generations who want to take over and leave their mark, installing the culture of nonviolence in the collective imagination, in education, politics, in society ... In the same way that in a few years the ecological awareness

Promoter Teams

The Promoter Teams (EP) that will arise from actions and projects that they raise from the social base, with the spirit that "each one takes care of what he / she proposes".
In countries with PE in several cities, a Country Promoter Team will be established. In these EPs, as many organizations as people can participate.
These PEs will be given as a way and style of work, horizontality, collaborative attitude and consensus to coordinate initiatives.

Support Platforms (PA)

They are also made up of people, groups and even institutions.
These are areas of participation that are broader and more diverse than EPs, where a large number of initiatives can be given, for example by sectors (educators, young people, women) or by places (neighborhood, city, university), etc.
The PA will necessarily have a representative or link with the EP of the city.

International Coordination

When and where?

La 3ªMM will begin in San Jose, Costa Rica el 2 October, 2024, International Day of Nonviolence, fifteen years after the 1ªMM. After traveling the 5 continents, it will end in San Jose, Costa Rica el January 5, 2025.
