Inspiring exchanges

The public, about 50 people, exchanged opinions with Rafael de la Rubia, coordinator of the World March, and Carlos Umaña, ICAN representative for Central America and the Caribbean, also a member of the International Association of Doctors for the Prevention of War Nuclear.

Participants, including Gerard Halie, of the Peace Movement, and Luigi Mosca, of the Association for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons, actively contributed questions and comments that will be the subject of future articles.

For the treaty to enter into force it is necessary that the ratification process continues: when 15 more countries have ratified the treaty, nuclear weapons will be declared illegal!
