Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons
El Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW, for its acronym in English), is a historic international agreement.
The 7 of 2017 in July was adopted at the United Nations.
Before being approved, nuclear weapons were the only weapons of mass destruction not subject to a comprehensive ban.
All in spite of its catastrophic, widespread and persistent humanitarian and environmental consequences that entails its use.
This new agreement fills a significant gap in international law.
