First day of the Experiential March

The Experiential March begins in Costa Rica with the presence of Rafael de la Rubia

Ruben Monge; representing the Experimental Laboratory of the Arts. Jeiner González as ai Director of UNED Puntarenas; Giovanny Blanco of the Central Coordination Team of the Latin American March and Rafael de la Rubia Founder of World Without Wars and without violence.

The activity was attended by residents of the community and members of Integral Development organizations in the area.

The speeches noted the importance for this coastal region of developing activities that promote dialogue, union and conflict resolution through nonviolence.

We have started the experiential March from the city of Puntarenas in Costa Rica. With great emotion and optimism we undertake the first steps of this wonderful March that is under way in many ways throughout Latin America, indicated Giovanny Blanco.

The Latin American is called to be the region of the world that will make the leap towards cooperation towards multilateralism and towards the transformation of society through nonviolence, Rafael de la Rubia concluded.

In this way, it began with 6 marchers for Nonviolence who will travel for 3 days from today 4 provinces of Costa Rica.

Reaching Ochomogo in Cartago, the central point of Costa Rica and division of continental waters of America, where a final act of joint request will be made for the objectives of the Latin American March for Nonviolence on September 30 at 3:30 pm at the Monument to Christ the King.
