Recoleta, generating social fabric

Worrying about maintaining the social fabric of the neighborhoods is a work that contributes to Peace

The Cultural Collective Building Neighborhood “in the month frame October not violent in Recoleta” and always with the objective of generating social fabric and more community, they have held a Neighborhood Day for Peace and Nonviolence on Sunday in October in the Patronato neighborhood, Santiago de Chile.

The Neighbors developed Excellent Workshops and shared knowledge in solidarity:

  • Natural Cosmetology Workshop, Gabriela Sarras
  • Gastronomy and Welding, José Aqueveque
  • Soaps with used oil, Maria José Maldonado
  • Almacigos for the Garden, Ingeborg Alvarado
  • Community Collage for nonviolence, collective AÑAÑUCA
  • Preparation of an organizer with recycling by Juanita Guzman
  • Braille embers tortillas by Rosita Montecinos
  • Paper masks Maché by Jessica Gjuranovic
  • Marine Dance by Latin American Families Group

The children painted for Peace and Nonviolence by Claudia and Victor Hugo Luzzi who was also in charge of Audio and editing with the collaboration of Jose Donoso.

 

Finally they performed a Ceremony for Peace and Nonviolence as a closing of this beautiful and significant activity.
