Human Symbol of Nonviolence in El Casar

On the occasion of International Nonviolence Day and the beginning of the 2 World March 200 students and 50 adults of El Casar made a Human Symbol of Nonviolence.

This October 2 of 2019, on the occasion of the International Day of Nonviolence and the beginning of the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence, different activities were prepared in El Casar.

At the institutional level, Ms. María José Valle Sagra, Mayor of El Casar, talked about the Manifesto of the 2 World March and Teresa Galán, a member of the Social Movement of Casar, what is nonviolence and what is it for social and personal level.

200 students of the IES Campiña Alta and the IES Juán García Valdemora and adult 50, made a Human symbol of Nonviolence.

Also, throughout the day, in the Center and Youth of El Casar, workshops for Peace and Nonviolence were held.

On August 30, the City Council of El Casar unanimously approved the motion to join the 2 World March.

These have been some of the activities with which the town of El Casar participates in the 2 World March.
