Human Symbols of Nonviolence at Home

This January 30, the three CEIPs of El Casar, Guadalajara, Spain, participated in the realization of Human Symbols of Peace and Nonviolence

On School Day of Nonviolence and Peace, in The Casar, all the local schools joined to make Symbols of Peace and Nonviolence.

It was last January 30, commemorating Peace Day and in support of the 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence.

1169 children participated with parents and all the teachers of the schools.

The mayor and the councilor for education were also present.

This text was read by the Sixth Boy and / or girl once the Human Symbol was formed in the courtyard:

«I, on behalf of all the girls and boys of this school, express the commitment of:

Never use our current or future knowledge for war or violence against other people.

So we need to learn to "treat others as we want to be treated."

We girls and boys need to live in a world without concern for nuclear weapons and environmental degradation.

We will work to make our world a place to live happily in peace and harmony«.
