This event opens the Forum of Nonviolence in A Coruña that organizes “Mundo sen guerras e sen Violencia” within the framework of the 2 World March Pola Paz ea Nonviolencia, which from February 15 to 22 will disengage, in seven days the different types of violence we live in our society today.

18:45 Documentary Projection “The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons”

This documentary is about efforts to incorporate a treaty banning nuclear weapons into international law and the role of the International Campaign for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons, ICAN, is told through the voices of prominent activists of various organizations and countries and the president of the negotiation conference.

This documentary has been screened in various cities around the world obtaining several awards: New York premiere of the film and the Merit Award of The Accolade Global Film Competition.

COLLOQUIO TALK:

Talk to the director of the documentary Alvaro Orus,  who told us how the international TPAN campaign is developing (Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons), what are the 5 ways to activate in this campaign and the influence of this documentary in the world.
