This November 17, in the context of the 2 World March, a march was made from the El Dueso prison to the Sanctuary of the Well Appeared

March for Peace and Non-Violence of inmates and some officials

The "Social Commitment Program"From the prison of"The bone”In Santoña –Cantabria-, it is aimed at the active participation of all those inmates capable of developing their socio-moral reasoning; able to understand that the reunion with society and its citizens is best achieved through the performance of prosocial and humanitarian activities.

These attitudes generate strong cohesion and self-esteem among the inmates for the services performed, discovering values that they might not know they could possess.

10 years ago, during the 1 World March for Peace and Nonviolence, Enrique Collado gave a talk in our prison and this year, the November 17, we walked a group of inmates and officials about 20 km symbolically, from the center prison to the Sanctuary of the Well Appeared -Patrona de Cantabria- to adhere to the spirit and feeling of the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence.

Similarly, after the meal we had a reflection directed by Enrique on Nonviolence and an interesting colloquium.

Presentation of the March in Santoña

A few days before, the November 14 had been held, also in Santoña, promoted by the Estela association and the Silo Message, the presentation of the 2 World March. The header photography belongs to this event that was held in the municipal library of this town.

We thank the official friend who invited us to the event and made the text referring to the march.
We also thank the officials and inmates of the "El Dueso" prison for holding their "March", which undoubtedly puts them on the path of personal transformation that we all need to build the new world, in solidarity and non-violence by that we all aspire to, based on respect for ourselves, others and nature.
