The Fine Arts Foundation and the World Without Wars and Violence Association joined together to present for the first time the Guayaquil Artistic Exhibition for Peace and Nonviolence.
A total of 32 artists between nationals and foreigners participate in this event that was inaugurated on December 10 of the 2019, in the auditorium of the Ecuadorian North American Center and will remain open to the public until the 27 of this month.
Renowned painters and sculptors exhibit their works
Renowned painters and sculptors exhibit their work as part of the activities programmed by the 2ª World March for Peace and Nonviolence. Rubén Vargas Fallas and Navil Leyton from Costa Rica; Heriberto Noppeney from Brazil; Ricardo Sanchezt and Antonio Peralta from Peru. For our country there are painters Eduardo Revelo, Renato Ulloa, Erwin Valle, Sonia Llusca, Elsa Ordoñez, María Balarezo, Julio Narváez, Clara Bucheli, Rodrigo Contreras and Whitman Gualzaqui from Quito; Adolfo Chunga, Johanna Meza, Hermel Quezada, Ricardo Cruz, Marco San Martín, Germany Guarderas, Miguel Palacios Frugone, Julio Salazar and Javier Tamayo from Guayaquil and Espartaco Petaco from Catamayo. The sculptors Santiago Endara and Washington Jaramillo, Quito; Miguel Illescas, Cuenca; Manuel Orrala, Diana Ponce and Diego Yunga, Guayaquil; José Loor, Manta, present their works full of details, colors and using different techniques, with messages dedicated to peace, as evidenced by the titles of their paintings: Guardians of Peace, Messenger of Peace, A Space of Peace, Together for Peace, Peace is sharing, Peace is for you, for me, for them, among others.
Professionals, students and citizens in general attended this event that was attended by Adolfo Chunga, president of the Fine Arts Foundation, who gave the words of welcome; Juan Gómez, member of the Base Team of the World March; Sonia Venegas Paz, president of the World Without Wars Association and special guests.
