Saint Louis, entry in Senegal

On the morning of October 26, the March Base Team began the Senegal stage arriving in Saint-Louis.

The local promoter team led by Omar Diallo led the Base Team to meet with some religious authorities:

Visiting Abbot Barnabas, curator of the seminary in the Catholic Church; then to the imam Baye Dame Wade, grandson of Abbas Sall, great scholar of the Tidiane brotherhood, who after congratulating the team on that initiative, led the group the prayer of the travelers.

Next, the President of the Saint-Louis Neighborhood Councils' group was visited, who showed himself in great harmony with the project, stating that nonviolence begins in oneself and concerned about how to continue these values, emphasizing the work of young people like Omar, secretary of the district council of Balacoss.

It was the occasion to delve into one of the objectives of the World March

It was the occasion to delve into one of the objectives of the World March referred to multiform hazards whose maximum expression, in the international arena, consists of the nuclear threat.

The resistance of the people to certain powerful governments of the system was also stressed with examples such as Guinea, Chile, Ecuador, Lebanon among others and the rise of civic movements, such as Greta Thunberg, and others.

The need to install nonviolence as a new culture, as is happening with the theme of ecology, was emphasized.

In the afternoon, Don Bosco took place in the center, an event in which a presentation of the World March was made, and whose cultural part consisted of a representation of the Juvep theater troop, the intervention of rapper General Kheuch and slamero Slam Issa who put a good atmosphere.
