The Community for Human DevelopmentInternational NGO, recognized by the UN as an institution at the Service of Peace and as a representative in Salta of "World without Wars and Violence", carried out the following activities with the support of the Community Action Directorate of the Municipality.
Activities in August 2019
August 16 - Screening of the film "The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons" in the Aula Magna of the Salta Distance Studies Center.
(CEDSa). September 3 and 5 - Screening of "The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons" with 4th and 5th year students from the Jacques Cousteau College.
Activities in September 2019
September 18 - Screening of "The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons" with 3rd year students from the Bernardo Frías High School.
September 20 - Activities in Plazoleta IV Siglos celebrating the International Day of Peace, with the participation of educational establishments that previously worked on the theme:
- Therapeutic Nativity Educational Center (children and youth with different abilities)
- Bernardo Frias and Jacques Cousteau schools.
Delivery of peace popcorn, phrases alluding to nonviolence and peace and brochures informing about the 2ª World March.
Activities in October 2019
October 2 - Day of Nonviolence. Radio program with students from Colegio Jacques Cousteau on Radio Nacional.
October 2 - Symbol of Peace made by students of the Jacques Cousteau School.
October 18 - Press conference at the Casa de Hernández Museum.
October 20 - Broadcasting by radio and television stations.
October 24 - Second Cultural Encounter for Peace and Non-Violence in the San Martín Park Amphitheater, with the participation of artists, related organizations and the general public. Said meeting was declared of municipal and provincial interest.
October 25 - Presentation of the 2nd World March and Active Nonviolence Workshop in the National Day "Educate in Equality" for the morning and afternoon shifts of the Technical School No. 3141.
Activities in December 2019
December 20 - Invitation and delivery of certificates to The Community for Human Development and other institutions in the environment, by the General Directorate of Community Action of the Municipality of Salta.
December 23 - Reception in Tucumán to the Base Team of the 2nd World March.
December 26 and 27 - Reception in Córdoba for the Base Team of the 2nd World March (Paravachasca Park).
