Horsemen united for Peace and Nonviolence

Farmers, ranchers, farmers, peasants, children, youth and adults joined this traditional festival whose objective is to keep the customs and history of the montubio and transmit it to all sectors of the country, also encourage the population to promote peaceful coexistence and not aggression of any kind.

This year, thanks to the coordination of Olga Guerra, Deputy President of the World Equestrian Tourism Organization, representative for Latin America and member of Mundo Sin Guerras y Sin Violencia joined the 2ª World March and called the Cavalcade for Peace and Nonviolence.

This act was attended by several authorities, among which Cesar Litardo, president of the National Assembly; Pedro Pablo Duart, governor of Guayas; Carlos Luis Morales, prefect; Edson Alvarado, Mayor of Saint Lucia; José Avellán, president of the Montubia Guayasense Integration Committee; Sonia Venegas Paz, president of the World Without Wars and Violence-Ecuador Association who was accompanied by Glenda Venegas, Patricia Tapia, Silvana Almeida, Ricardo López and William Venegas.

During the intervention of the president of Mundo Sin Guerrra, he stressed the importance of keeping us together to generate these types of spaces where people are encouraged to live in a society free of violence, and thanked the organizers for the excellent initiative.

After traveling several kilometers, they arrived at the Los Caidos Hacienda Association where a band of traditional food and music was waiting for them.
