Ecuador opened its mouth with the diversity of expressions of the beginning of the World March with the realization of Peace and Nonviolence Symbols.
The day before the March, the October 1, preparation activities had begun and the result of enthusiasm can already be seen:
Around 200 second, third, eighth and ninth grade students; first and second year of high school School of Basic Education and the Fiscal Education Unit María Mercedes Cleofé Silva Carrión of the city of Guayaquil, after a function in the Planetarium of the Navy and thanks to the motivation of their professors they made the symbol of Peace, the 1 of October of 2019, as an event prior to the celebration of the International Day of Nonviolence and the beginning of the 2. World March for Peace and Nonviolence.
The same October 2, Basic Education students of the Adalberto Ortiz Quiñonez, Rafael Morán Valverde fiscal schools and the general public joined together to celebrate International Nonviolence Day and the departure of the 2 World March, in the Planetarium of the Navy from Ecuador, Human Symbols of Peace and Nonviolence were recreated.
Naval Radio of Guayaquil interviewed Silvana Almeida de Mundo without Wars and Violence on the occasion of the start of the 2 World March.
