Nursery schools and the World March

Last February 13, the “big” boys and girls from the Fiumicello and Villa Vicentina Nursery Schools marched for Peace

On Thursday, February 13, under a beautiful sun, the “big” boys and girls of the Infant Schools of Fiumicello and Villa Vicentina They walked along the “Vie dei Diritti” to reach Piazza dei Tigli.

There the mayor Laura Sgubin, some representatives of the local Promoter Committee of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence and a happy audience to see all these children walk singing with the Peace flag.

After the greetings, with the help of the teachers, the children explained what Peace is for them and gave the representatives of the Committee a folder with all the ideas they expressed during the moments of preparation for this march.

Accompanied on guitar by Professor Chiara Odoni, they sang and then explained the meaning of the banner they had made, delivering it to the representatives of the Committee with the task of carrying it during the march that will take place in Fiumicello on February 27.

And finally they gave a twist to the notes of the song “A world of a thousand colors.”

A big thank you to the teachers who have been able to convey with enthusiasm to the children the desire to be part of this great family of PEACE.
