The International Base Team of the 2nd World March met yesterday February 13 with the International Peace Bureau in Berlin, Germany

February 13, meeting of the International Base Team of the 2ª World March with representatives of the International Peace Bureau association, in Berlin.

The meeting was attended by Reiner Braun, from the International Peace Bureau, the members of the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence, Angelica K., Sandro V. and the general coordinator, Rafael de la Rubia.

They exchanged information on the World March and strengthened ties of collaboration on the issues of Peace and Nonviolence.

The International Peace Bureau, (International Peace Bureau IPB) is an international association that is dedicated to the vision of a world without war.

The International Peace Office, as defined

"Our main current program focuses on Disarmament for Sustainable Development and within this, our focus is mainly on the reallocation of military expenditures.

We believe that by reducing the financing of the military sector, significant amounts of money could be released for social projects, at home or abroad, which could lead to the satisfaction of real human needs and the protection of the environment.

At the same time, we support a series of disarmament campaigns and provide data on the economic dimensions of weapons and conflicts".

And elsewhere she explains of herself: “The International Peace Bureau (IPB), over the years, has worked on a wide variety of issues for the promotion of peace, including:

nuclear weapons, the arms trade and other aspects of disarmament; education and the culture of peace; women and the establishment of peace; and the history of peace and other related issues, such as international law and human rights."

An obvious approach between the World March and IPB

The rapprochement, collaboration and entanglement of synergies between the IPB and the 2nd World March and its main promoters, World without Wars and without violence, are evident.

It is shown by the note on his facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ipb1910/posts/3432784886763407) included yesterday referring to this meeting:

"Today, our Berlin team met with the World March for Peace and Nonviolence. Thank you for the visit and for your work for peace! We are together for disarmament and the culture of peace."

For our part, as a World March, we have to thank the warm welcome from the representatives of IPB, as well as the ties established to be able to join next actions.
