Festival for Peace in the EVA Space activating the launch of the 2 World March

As a prelude to the Second World March (2ª MM) for Peace and Nonviolence, the Multicultural Festival was held yesterday at the Arganzuela Neighborhood Space (EVA), ON THE ROAD TO PEACE AND NOVIOLENCE! jointly organized by the Madrid Platform to support the 2ª MM and EVA.

The festival took place in a marathon day that lasted from the 10 in the morning to the 11 at night and accommodated numerous activities and performances, from plastic arts workshops, Capoeira dance, dance and theater, to music groups African or Andean.

Children's orchestras also encouraged a day in which the demands and demands of women's groups, youth against global warming and the strike against climate change were present. All of them shared space and enthusiasm throughout the day as well as food and conversation in the midday break.

Highlights the performances of musical groups

The interventions of the groups stand out Sikuris-Runataki Katari (Peru), «Ball Folk», Small footprints (Italy), Grow with music (Madrid), Codao de Ouro Madrid (Brazil), The Griots of Africa (Cameroon), Leo Torino (Argentina), Radioteatro Group (EVA), Collective.

In plastic arts: Estella Belle, collective «Arte total» and Ibán Pablo in photography.

They reported: Feminist Assembly (EVA), Extinction-Rebellion, Women Walking La Paz and World without Wars and Violence .

The event was informed about the details of the beginning of the 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence, which will depart from the Km 0 of the Puerta del Sol in Madrid next October 2 and return to the same point on March 8 of 2020 after going around the planet.

That same day, at 19: 00h, after the departure of Km0, the first act of the 2ªMM will be held in Madrid at the Circle of Fine Arts (Maria Zambrano room).
