The March at the Interamerican University of Panama

The September 21, International Day of Peace, on the Campus of the Inter-American University of Panama, a Human Symbol of Peace was recreated.

The event was organized by the Promotion Team of the 2ª World March in Panama and by students of the University.

It developed in a cheerful and festive tone.

This act was explained on the University website:

“Celebrating the International Day of Peace, students, administrators and collaborators responded to the call of the organization World Without Wars and Without Violence, to form a human symbol of peace in the lobby of the UIP, an activity carried out within the framework of the II World Peace March, which will travel around the planet for 5 months, starting next October 2 and passing through our country at the beginning of December until returning to Spain on March 8.

The march is carried out in essence, to motivate society in general to reflect and consider the importance of strengthening tolerance, living in community with harmony, peace and without violence, for a better world.”

The 2 World March for Peace and Nonviolence will arrive in Panama on December 1 of 2019.

We hope that the mobilization of that day will be as successful as that of the 1 March.
