After the beginning of the activities of the March on this day, the feeling that has been able to summarize the celebration: “It was a beautiful party”.
The celebration of the human being expressing their best aspirations: Peace and Nonviolence for all.
This was a youth-oriented day. Activities were carried out with the participation of students from different educational institutions, obviously with the collaboration of teachers and the management team of the schools.
A human chain for Peace was made, with the symbolic passage of a world from hand to hand wishing Peace and all the best for the entire planet.
Creation of human symbols of Peace and Nonviolence.
A Painting workshop was held, taught by an organization that is part of the March Promotion Team, The Transformation Foundation in violent times.
The children also prepared posters in the classroom that led with great joy to the symbolic march for the peace that was realized.
The march of the band of the Spain School He toured some streets of San José promoting the celebrations of the International Day of Peace and the official Presentation in Costa Rica of the 2ª World March.
A chorus of students from the Colegio Superior de Señoritas stood out and together with the help of their music teacher, they prepared and collectively sang our song of the March “Todos por el Mundo” in its Spanish version.
Students of the first cycle of read Spain School interpreted the beautiful song My Country, which has the privileges and freedom with which we live the Ticos.
Also some teachers from the Escuela España delighted us with their Folk Dance.
Today this international campaign of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence began in Costa Rica, ”and we hope it will be permanent. With great joy, from now on, we await the marchers around the world of the Base Team, who will touch Costa Rican soil from November 25 to December 1," highlighted Giovanni Blanco of the World without Wars Association and member of the March Promotion Team in Costa Rica.
