Campaign tunes to the World March

Within the initiatives for the promotion of the culture of peace through the March for Peace and Nonviolence which will begin in Madrid on October 2 of 2019, the 200 Schools for Peace and Nonviolence Campaign has been launched in Recife-Pernambuco, Brazil.

As of today there are already 30 enrolled schools and 70 education professionals involved.

Participate in this March that takes to all corners the voice of Nonviolence, that as water flows through all the cracks and will reach where it is most needed, to the heart of good people, those who want a world in peace and without violence, a world of all and for all.

Tune in to your school with this international mobilization that will begin on October 2 from 2019!

We are coordinating schools to carry out activities related to nonviolence in the week of October 2, International Day of Nonviolence.

The activities can be:

• Human symbol of peace and nonviolence *, see here: https://pt.theworldmarch.org/simbolos-humanos
• Pedagogical activities * (drawings, writing, theater, music, poetry, games, meditation ...)
• Exhibition of short videos * (for example: the history of non-violence and biographies of Silo, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Aung San Suu Kyi, Carmen Hertz, Malala, Tolstoy, etc ...).
• Education workshops on nonviolence *, ideas here; www.naoviolencianasescolas.org

Schools wishing to participate can enroll in this form, this registration is to receive materials and only to let us know how many schools, students and teachers were impacted.

 

You have children and grandchildren, can you go to your schools?

It would be great for children to take nonviolent actions in their schools, which would send a great message to leaders about conflict resolution through peaceful dialogue.
