Dear friends,

As you know, on the occasion of the Second World March for Peace and Nonviolence, we have promoted a conference entitled "LET'S SOW PEACE" for February 27.

In Fiumicello, at 20.30 in the Bison Room, there will be an interesting meeting and discussion that aims to outline, with various reflections, a broad discourse on peace, justice and human rights.

There will be four speakers:

  • Pierluigi Di Piazza, from the Ernesto Balducci Reception Center in Zugliano
  • Elena Gerebizza from “Re:Common”, an association that conducts investigations and campaigns against corruption and environmental destruction
  • Fulvio Tessarotto physicist of CERN in Geneva and member of the Union of Disarmament Scientists
  • Bisera Krkic from the association “Ospiti in Arrivo” which also operates in solidarity along the Balkan Route.

The interventions will be interspersed with performances by Ruda's “CoroCosì” and the multi-ethnic female choir. "The Fabric" of Udine.

During the evening, a gadget made specifically for the occasion that can be used to plant seeds will be distributed to those present, thus cultivating peace in every corner of the region.

We invite all the associations that have not yet done so to join the call "Let's sow peace", attached to this, to which several regional realities have already adhered, including:

E. Balducci Welcome Center, ARCI Udine and Pordenone, ARCI Trieste, CeVI, CVCS, Associazione La Tela, Comitato Pace Convivenza e Solidarietà Danilo Dolci, Civic List Other Perspectives of Codroipo, La Meridiana Association, Municipality of Gradisca d'Isonzo, Community Muslim from Udine, Incoming Guests, Red Radié Resch, Municipality of Aiello del Friuli, Ètniqua APS, ACLI FVG, Article One FVG.«
