Ecuador, member of the World Association Without Wars and Violence, is present at the 1st Latin American March Multiethnic and Pluricultural for nonviolence, beginning with the Pilgrimage to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi, located in Puerto Santa Ana, Plaza del Paseo and Contemplación between The Point buildings and the Wyndham hotel.
The Bust was donated by the Government of India and was inaugurated in March 2018 by the then mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot.
On September 21, we remember the International Day of Peace, in addition to other activities coordinated at the national level.
