The World March in Trieste and surroundings

Between February 24 and 26, the city of Trieste served as a bridge to the dealers of the 2nd World March to visit several nearby places.

On the 24th, they visited Umag, in Croatia, where their mayor signed the accession to the 2nd World March.

On the 25th, the Base Team visited the city of Piran and on the 26th the city of Copper, both in Slovenia.

Also on the 26th, visits were made to several nearby cities in Italy and to Trieste itself.

The municipality of San Dorligo della Valle was visited, where they were received by their mayor Sandi Klun, who in the first announcements of the 2nd World March, had encouraged the accession of the Municipality of San Dorligo della Valle / Dolina to the 2nd World March.

They were also received in the Municipality of Muggia, the first municipality linked to the 2nd World March, by its mayor Laura Marzi.

After these visits, the Base Team, already in Trieste, visited emblematic places:

They stopped at the Psychiatric Park, next to the "Kako" of Nagasaki.

And, also the places with steles of «Memory of the 2nd World War (Nazi occupation)».

And, as a climax, the dealers were received at the headquarters of the March Promotion Team in Trieste, where they participated in a cheerful camaraderie agape.
