In February, dealers participate in activities on the Asian continent.

In Nepal, the International Base Team participated in activities such as Marches and Creation of Human Peace Symbols.

Kannur supports the TPNW, becoming the first Indian city to sign its endorsement of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

We will see in a brief way the activities of the first days in which the Base Team was in India.

Within the activities of the Base Team of the 2nd World March in India, we summarize here those in which it participated on February 3 and 4.

On February 6, the Base Team of the 2nd World March was at Bravan's College in Mumbai carrying out many activities.


Meanwhile, many other activities were being carried out in other places.

In Bolivia, at Colegio Colombia de Sandrita, La Paz, Bolivia, some students shared the Humanistic Ethical Commitment.

In Spain various activities delighted everyone.

La Coruña is allied with the sport in this 2 World March, hiking trails, soccer tournaments and sports marathons are involved to publicize this international action.

On February 15, 2020, the documentary “The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons” will kick off the A Coruña Forum for Peace and Nonviolence.

On February 18, the Barcelona City Council, headed by Ada Colau, gave its support to the TPAN.

In Italy, as we were used to, a multitude of activities took place.

The International Base Team steps on European soil again.

The International Base Team arrived in Moscow on February 9, the next day they met with representatives of the Gorbachev Foundation.

The International Base Team of the 2nd World March met on February 13 with the International Peace Bureau in Berlin, Germany.

On February 14 and 15, the International Base Team of the 2nd World March participated in the ICAN Forum in Paris.

The documentary “The beginning of the end of nuclear weapons” was presented in Paris on Sunday, February 16.


Meanwhile different activities are taking place in Italy, Croatia and Slovenia.

On February 13, the "big" boys and girls from the Fiumicello and Villa Vicentina Nursery Schools marched for Peace.

The promoter committee of the 2nd World March of Alto Verbano has everything ready for the arrival of the International Base Team on March 1st.

Within the framework of the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence, the Fiumicello Villa Vicentina libraries organized two “Story Hour” meetings for children.

The president of CRELP, Marco Duriavig, invites you to participate in the activities during the 2nd World March.

On 19/02/2020, the City Council of Umag, Croatia, published a document in support of the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

On February 24, 2020, the base team arrived in Umag, Croatia, and was welcomed by two Deputy Mayors.

We were with the Fiumicello Scouts, we wrote and painted Peace and Nonviolence.

The International Core Team arrived in Koper-Capodistria, Slovenia, on February 26, 2020

On February 24, the Base Team of the March was between Trieste, Italy and Umag, Croatia, a place where the activities were suspended due to the “corona-virus”.

Between February 24 and 26, the city of Trieste served as a bridge to the dealers of the 2nd World March to visit several nearby places.

After passing through Koper-Capodistria, on February 26, the 2nd World March for Peace and Nonviolence finally arrived in Italy.

The core team of the 2nd World March for Peace and Non-Violence has arrived in Piran, Slovenia.

On February 27, the March arrived at Fiumicello Villa Vicentina, where they carried out activities “in private”.


We also had samples of their activities in France, Spain and Egypt.

On Saturday, February 22, on the occasion of the 2nd World March, day of actions for Peace in Montreuil, outskirts of Paris.

On February 20, at the Barcelona History Museum, ICAN presented its campaign “Let's build peace in the cities of the world”.

At the beginning of February, some members of the international Base team were in Egypt where they toured the most emblematic places.
